What to expect?

Depending on the severity and type of ear lobe repair there are different techniques available. Dr. Klok will work with you to determine which is best for you and your needs.

How long does it take to recover?

Some bruising and swelling is normal after surgery and will subside over the first week after surgery.

Dr. Jennifer Klok



Dr. Klok attended medical school at the University of British Columbia and graduated with her MD in 2009.  She completed her five years of Plastic Surgery training at the University of Ottawa and obtained her board certification in plastic surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2015.  Dr. Klok then went on to pursue a fellowship in Breast Cancer Reconstruction at the University of Toronto.  During her fellowship she had the opportunity to learn various techniques in breast reconstruction from leaders in the field and also acquired extensive training in aesthetic surgery and microsurgery.  In addition to this, Dr. Klok has a Masters in Science from McMaster University in Health Research Methodology and has pursued various research endeavors including writing surgical publications and presenting at national and international conferences.
