What to expect?
Abdominoplasty surgery is performed under general anesthetic, with a three-part procedure. Dr. Klok will begin by repositioning the muscles along the abdominal wall, then she will remove excess skin and fat. Finally, liposuction is used to contour the abdominal wall.
How long does it take to recover?
Swelling and bruising is normal following surgery and will fade over the course of a few weeks. It may take months for all swelling to subside and for the final results to appear. Most patients return to work and normal activities within two to three weeks.
