What to expect during a BBL IPL Treatment:
During your treatment, ultrasound gel is applied to the skin; allowing your technician to deliver a series of light pulses by gliding the handpiece across the treatment area. How long does the Forever Young BBL IPL Treatment last?
The Forever Young BBL IPL treatment requires no downtime and allows patients to resume normal activities immediately after treatment! Results from the treatment are long lasting, with some patients reporting continued positive results after 10+ years. Depending on the specifics of a patient's skin concerns, BBL achieves optimal results when combining 3-4 treatments in a row. Plan to schedule one treatment every 4 weeks. What to stop doing before a BBL treatment:
While BBL is the safest IPL treatment on the market in the hands of a skilled operator, any form of IPL therapy is not safe for use during pregnancy.
After a BBL treatment, the skin will be photosensitive, so it is important to decrease your exposure to direct sunlight for at least 5 days before you treatment, and avoid direct sunlight entirely for 1 week following your treatment.
Discontinue use of aggressive topicals like retinols, or glycolic acid 3-5 days before your treatment. You will be able to continue regular use of these skincare products 1 week after your treatment, unless otherwise directed by your technician.

Even if a patient magically fit within those limited parameters, an adjustment would be needed for their very next treatment, because their skin's condition will have changed after the previous treatment.
