Skin Laxity

Skin laxity, also known as sagging skin, refers to the loss of definition, plumpness, and texture of the skin. Skin laxity is often due to loss of elasticity, and collagen in the skin. This can cause textural changes such as skin creping, deepening skin folds and drooping skin in the upper and lower eyelids, jawline and neck. There are many different reasons for sagging skin, namely sun exposure, the loss of elasticity and collagen, loss of volume in the face and weight loss.
